Home Fellowship

These are small groups of believers usually compromising of few families that live in one neighborhood. The believers usually meet on Tuesday and Thursday for prayer and fellowship but close proximity helps them to interact more often and freely.

HBFs are building blocks of Church and through them; talents and gifts are easily identified and nurtured. To indicate the important part that HBF plays in the church , it is a requirement that only Christians who are active in their HBF are admitted to serve in other ministries like ushering, counselling, Choir, Praise and Worship Team, Follow-up Ministry, Evangelism and discipleship ministry and Children ministry.Members of one HBF also support each other and share together in Joy and difficulties.

All new believers and members of the church are encouraged to join a Home Bible Fellowship nearest to their residence. In these homes, Believers are given opportunity to grow, exercise their God –give gifts and Talents and to participate in the entire life and Ministry of ZGM

Every believer in the HBF must be entered into church’s nominal role as a member.

Each HBF is led by locality an area and usually come together in fellowship and unity of brethren is extended beyond the small unit.

The department also works closely with Evangelism and Discipleship Team. This is to ensure effective follow up of the new believers.

The Women’s Fellowship is tailored to initiate several projects that immensely benefit the entire congregation and the well- being of the women . They should seek for ways in which they can foster and sustain income generating businesses and eradication of poverty in their families as well as in the church.

The fellowship may hire out their project facilities for social events. In this way they are able to raise funds to support their activities and contribute to the work of the ministry and of the church projects. Specialized persons may be contacted to assist women groups in ways and trainings in which they can mitigate to financial prosperity. The women ministry should be encouraged by their leaders to form self -help  and CBO groups to enable them access financial assistance from well-wishers and donors.

The fellowship is involved in the hospitality ministry by making sire that all visitors who come to minister in the church are comfortable.

This happen also during various church functions and meetings in the local church where huge gathering where other church are involved. Here the fellowship takes the responsibility of ensuring that visitors are served with meals and refreshments assisted by the entire church.
